Beth is owner and artistic director of Main Street Dance in Hammond, Louisiana . Main Street Dance was named one of the Top 50 Dance Studios on the Move of 2006 by Dance Spirit and Dance Teacher Magazines and is currently ranked in the Top 50 Dance Studios by the Federation of Dance Competitions. Beth has over 17 years of experience as a dance educator, choreographer and adjudicator. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and is certified to teach Ballet, Tap and Jazz by the Louisiana Association of Dance Masters. Her unique style and award winning choreography have earned national recognition. As a teacher, her students have won countless awards and scholarships to esteemed institutions such as Joffrey Ballet, The Edge Performing Arts Center in Hollywood, California, Steps on Broadway and Young Americans. Her students have won many National Awards and Titles. Beth’s company, that was formed in 2002, Southeast Dance Alliance, has been invited to perform in Florida’s Gator Bowl and the Summer Dance Festival in Australia. Their award winning and entertaining style has become the hallmark of her company. In addition, Beth has been involved providing choreography for the Miss Mississippi Pageant as well as cheer and dance groups. She has also performed at the Super Bowl half time extravaganza. Beth’s passion for teaching is evident in the way she inspires her students. Her love of dance is contagious!
Beth is a certified elementary school teacher. She has worked in both the public and private school systems. She tries to meet all learning styles by offering activities and exercises that are unique, but most of all, fun and exciting!
Beth is a native of Hammond where she graduated from Holy Ghost Catholic School, Hammond High School and Southeastern Louisiana University.
