About Main Street Dance
Mission
Main Street Dance's mission is to provide students with a quality dance education while promoting discipline and self confidence in a positive atmosphere. In addition, the Main Street faculty provides the proper tools necessary in order to build grace and poise, while encouraging them to reach their goals in life.
Culture
Promoting a culture of hard work, dedication, respect, growth, and positive leadership, Main Street prides themselves on not only building better dancers but building the best young people. Students are trained with excellence and significance as the focus while also encouraging their creativity and passion for what sets their soul on fire. Students leave with life lessons that go far beyond dance.
Opportunities
A dance education at Main Street Dance provides students with exceptional opportunities. Many of our students are offered opportunities to further their education with some of the most prestigious institutions in the world, including The Juilliard School, Joffrey Los Angeles, New York City Dance Alliance, The Dallas Conservatory, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Boston Conservatory, Northwest Dance Project, American Ballet Theater, University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Kansas City Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Company, Body Traffic. Alabama Ballet, Soul Escape.
Students have also been invited in to the Dancerpalooza’s Beat Squad which represents the nation’s best young talent. Dancers have also been accepted into many prestigious college dance programs such as Marymount, Point Park University, University of Arizona, Southern Methodist University, Chapman, AMDA and The Studio School.
